Reenactors from across the United States have participated in events at Historic Fort Wayne for decades, as this picture from the mid 1970s shows. In it, several reenactors fire an original civil war-era bronze cannon inside the fort, on the parade ground in front of the main barracks building. More than one reenactor has a story to tell of eerie happenings experienced while visiting the fort.
